You can change your password or security questions from your profile. Here's how: Log in to your PayPal account. Click the My Account tab. Click Profile at the top of the page. Click Password in the Account Information column. Select either Password or Security Question. Click Edit. You may be asked to confirm that this is your account. Enter your current PayPal password. Enter and re-enter your new PayPal password. Select your security questions and enter the answers. Click Save. |

Midnight Sun, really pay pal is secure, I've been on it for about six years and this is the first problem I've had. And HAD it gone to my bank, after their investigation is done and they see that I did not donate or know this person, not only would they have put my money I had in pay pal back, but they would have also refunded to me the money that was taken out of my bank account. So they do stand by their word and It really is a good place to use. |

So really that would only happen if you are verified through paypal with your bank account?? I mean I am not a seller, I only buy(heck, I hate to bid), do you think that they could affect me? |

oh and I know they would give all the money back, it is just the shock of knowing that someone is getting away with your money and the initial findings of this crime. |

How did they hack your account. Did they use a keystroke logger? Another reason why I feel safer using a MAC.  |

If your not verified with a bank account you will be fine. I'm both a buyer and a seller. And YES I hope they find the person and they jail him/her. Perky I don't have a clue just that they did. What is Mac, is that just the name of another puter? I'm off to bed now. Talk to ya'll tomorrow. |

Thanks very much Deb, it makes me feel better. I do not like the bank account(verified) idea, I think it would be much easier for them to get my info that way. Although, it is probably beneficial to you as a seller to be verified, transactions are much easier I am sure. |

Oh, Deb, you made me laugh, in a good way. I read that bit of advice real fast and thought you said change your socks often! Nothing like socking away those winnings! Oh, and a "Mac" is an Apple Computer, as in MacIntosh apples. Sorry this happened to you, but so glad that the Good Lord Gave you a reason to check on it before it got real bad. God Bless.  |

ALL PEOPLE look at the update on the top of my page. pay pal had my money back to me today and I've transferred it to my bank account. I was very please in the fast manner in which they responded. MIDNIGHT SUN, I'm going to make a seperate bank account just for ebay and pay pal, that way it does not jeprodize my normal account ever again. Yes they are easier. Mayuka, thats a good idea. DEB:::: LOL Deb, I speed read too and you just don't know some of the things my eyes see that are not there. LOL Thanks for the heads up on the Mac, I thought that was what was meant but I wasn't sure. I thought it might be some new software thingy I never heard of. LOL, can we say dumb firstborn?
